This past week, The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley reappointed Reynaldo Esparra for another 3-year term thru 2019. Recently appointed three years ago, Rey wants to continue to help expand and share The Foundation’s missions statement with the Mahoning Valley.

(Reyno as he is known by his family and friends) is a lifelong resident of Youngstown. Reyno is married to Nancy (Burgos) Esparra, his lovely wife of 34 years. Nancy and Reyno have 3 beautiful daughters; Maria, Cristina, and Veronica along with their sons-in-laws and 3 grandchildren, Aviana, Rey and Ryan. Reyno has stayed actively involved in serving the greater Youngstown community for over 35 years coaching (youth basketball, track and softball), serving on multiple boards for non-profit agencies and a member of the Finance committee, Parish Council and Youth Coordinator at his church.

Rey has a big heart with nothing but experience and a work ethic like no other, which he shares throughout the board, added Anthony Spano, Foundation Director.

He’s an active member of Christ the Good Shepard and currently serves as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, and Choir member. He is employed by GBS Computers as the Director of Client Advocacy and recently celebrated 28 years of service. He’s a major sports enthusiast who enjoys working out, golf, softball and loves watching The Ohio State Buckeyes.
