The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley is a non-profit 501(c)
3 organization formed in 2007. Its mission is to the furtherance
of charitable and financial support and volunteer services to and
for chronically/terminally ill children on a local, regional and/or
national level. The foundation was formed to continue the tradition
established with "The Game of Hope Charity Basketball Classic"
that began back in 2005. In addition to taking over this event,
the HFMV has hosted many other events including softball, flag football
and bocce games of hope that have raised funds for chronically/terminally
ill children. In addition, supporters can donate anytime during
the calendar year by going to our website, www.hopemv.org.
The Hope Foundation and its volunteers feel that every child's
life is valuable, and we aim to support any local organization that
shares our common goal of helping each of these children exceed
his or her potential. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees.
The Board is responsible for establishing the policies for grants
or donations consistent with the stated purpose for which the Foundation
was established.
The sub-committee of the Board of Trustees of the HFMV will consider
requests for grants from all eligible organizations committed to
using the funds within the Foundation's mission statement.
This foundation will support, but not be limited to, providing
grants and dedicating its resources to the education, research,
and/or charitable centers across the Mahoning Valley that provide
services for chronically/terminally ill children.
You can either mail your grant request in
or e-mail it to grants@hopemv.org
