Game of Hope

The Game of Hope Classic
is a charity event put on by the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning
Valley to raise money for chronically/terminally ill children
for the regional and especially, the Mahoning Valley including
Youngstown, Ohio.
The day is plenty of fun
for the entire family and since 2005; this event has raised
nearly $40,000.
The event normally takes
place on the fourth Saturday in January on the campus of Youngstown
State University inside the Beeghly Center. Teams are comprised
of local celebrities, dignitaries, community leaders and media,
all from the area.

Bocce Game of Hope

The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning
Valley &
Casseses MVR as everyone who plays in the
Bocce Game of Hope helps to raise money for
the chronically/terminally ill children of our Valley.

Football
Game of Hope
|
The
Football Game of Hope is a charity event put on by the Hope
Foundation of the Mahoning Valley to raise money for chronically/terminally
ill children for the regional and especially, the Mahoning Valley
including Youngstown, Ohio.
The event will takes in conjunction
with the Mahoning Valley Thunder (Arena2 Football Team) inside
the Chevrolet Centre before a game.
Teams will be comprised of High School
Football Coaches with the teams divided up into two teams:
North (Trumbull, Portage,
& Mercer, PA Counties) vs. South (Mahoning,
Columbiana, Stark, Lawrence, PA Counties).
In addition, the high school students
can elect to participate in there own little event called
the "TUG-OF-WAR, where the school can also raise funds
for themselves.

Softball
Game of Hope
|
The Softball Game of Hope
is a charity event put on by the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning
Valley to raise money for chronically/terminally ill children
for the regional and especially, the Mahoning Valley including
Youngstown, Ohio.
In conjunction with the
Mahoning Valley Scrappers, the Softball Game of Hope will
be played every year at Eastwood Field.
The teams will be comprised
of community leaders, management, and politicians who live
and work in Mahoning and Trumbull County, which makes the
teams Mahoning vs. Trumbull County.
