The Game of Hope Classic is a charity event put on by the non-profit organization, the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley. This foundation raises money for chronically/terminally ill children for the regional and especially, the Mahoning Valley including Youngstown, Ohio.

The day is always plenty of fun for the entire family and since 2005, this event has raised nearly $40,000.

The event normally takes place on the fourth Saturday in January on the campus of Youngstown State University inside the Beeghly Center. Teams are comprised of local celebrities, dignitaries, community leaders and media, all from the Tri-County area.
